Eligibility/Qualification:
- PhD or equivalent degree in cell or developmental biology, biomedical engineering, cancer biology, or related field
- Strong laboratory experience and publication record
- MD or equivalent degree with substantial laboratory research experience also considered
- Clinical research experience not required
Job Description:
- Drive cutting-edge research projects focusing on the cytoskeleton and its role in skin biology
- Utilize cell culture, organoids, animal models, and human tissue to investigate wound healing, epithelial to mesenchymal transition, and inherited skin diseases
- Implement quantitative, minimal-intervention methods and high-resolution microscopy for molecular circuit analysis
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams within the Department of Dermatology and the Cecil H. and Ida Green Center for Systems Biology
- Develop independent research projects under the supervision of the Principal Investigator
- Prepare manuscripts for publication and contribute to academic and scientific discourse
