Eligibility/Qualification

  • Completion of a Swedish doctoral degree or a foreign degree corresponding to a Swedish doctoral degree.
  • Preference for candidates who received their degree no more than three years prior to the application deadline.
  • Candidates who have not held a post-doc position within the same or similar subject area at the University of Gothenburg for more than one year.
  • Special considerations are given to candidates with earlier degrees due to reasons like illness or parental leave.

Job Description

The postdoctoral researcher will:

  • Focus on the development and investigation of spin Hall nano-oscillators.
  • Employ thin film deposition techniques (PVD) and various magnetic characterization methods, including ferromagnetic resonance and spin-torque measurements.
  • Engage in nanofabrication and characterization of spintronic oscillators using techniques like BLS microscopy.
  • Utilize GPU-accelerated micromagnetic simulations.
  • Collaborate closely with PhD students and other postdoctoral researchers to design experiments, interpret data, and publish findings in peer-reviewed journals.
  • Present research results at international scientific conferences.
