Eligibility/Qualification

  • A doctoral degree or a foreign degree equivalent to a doctoral degree is required (must be fulfilled by the time of the employment decision).
  • Candidates who completed their doctorate within the last three years are preferred; earlier completion may be considered under special circumstances.
  • A first author published research paper from the PhD program is required.

Job Description

The selected candidate will utilize hematopoietic stem cells from elderly donors or patients with leukemia to identify factors influencing stem cell aging and leukemia. Responsibilities include:

  • Conducting single-cell sequencing.
  • Creating xenotransplants using “humanized” mice.
  • Investigating the mechanisms underlying stem cell aging and related diseases.
  • Collaborating in an interdisciplinary research environment, contributing to shared knowledge, and participating in research communication and presentations.
