Eligibility/Qualification:
- Required:
- Doctoral degree in Cell Biology, Molecular Biosciences, Biochemistry, Biophysics, Structural Biology, or a related field.
- Completion of PhD within the last three years is advantageous.
- Preferred Skills:
- Experience in experimental cell biology or advanced imaging techniques.
- Prior experience with cryo-ET and/or cryo-CLEM.
- Interest in lipid metabolism and membrane biology.
Job Description:
The Nanoscale Lipid Flux Architecture research group seeks to uncover how cells regulate lipid flux and organelle biogenesis. This position entails:
- Developing and applying in-cell cryo-ET methodologies.
- Creating workflows for cryo-CLEM to observe cellular states.
- Analyzing membrane architectures and protein assemblies determining lipid handling.
- Working collaboratively in a world-class imaging environment.
