Eligibility/Qualification

  • PhD in Theoretical Particle Physics or Theoretical Particle Cosmology.
  • At least two years of postdoctoral experience.
  • Proven research record in the fields mentioned above.
  • Broad interests in the interplay between particle physics and cosmology.
  • Experience in model building and phenomenology is preferred.

Job Description

The successful candidate will join the group of Prof. Laura Covi and engage in research that explores fundamental questions in theoretical particle physics and cosmology. Responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting independent research and publishing findings in high-impact journals.
  • Collaborating with Prof. S. Schumann (particle physics phenomenology) and Prof. Jens Niemeyer (cosmology) on joint projects.
  • Contributing to teaching and mentoring activities within the department.
  • Participating in departmental seminars and discussions.
