Eligibility / Qualification:
- PhD (awarded within the last 3 years or near completion) in Materials Science, Organic Chemistry, or a related discipline.
- Strong research record with peer-reviewed publications.
- Experience in processing/chemical modification of nanocellulose or biopolymers.
- Proficient in rheological and mechanical characterization of polymer-based materials.
- Excellent command of English (written and spoken).
- Collaborative mindset for interdisciplinary research.
Note: Exceptions to the 3-year PhD limit can be made for parental leave, sick leave, or military service.
Job Description:
- Conduct independent research on biopolymer-based composite materials and hydrogels for wearable electronics.
- Collaborate with researchers at WWSC (Chalmers, KTH, and LiU) and external partners.
- Design experiments, analyze data, and publish results in peer-reviewed journals.
- Contribute actively to the development of research ideas and project execution.
- Present findings at conferences and research meetings.
