Postdoc in France

Postdoctoral Researcher – Infrared Photodetectors: We are seeking a postdoctoral researcher to join a collaborative project aimed at synthesizing promising CsAuX₃ perovskite thin films for lead-free infrared-sensitive photodetectors. The successful candidate will have a strong background in nanomaterials, semiconductors, and perovskite thin films. This is a one-year funded position, with the possibility of extension based on additional funding applications. The project involves a collaboration between two academic labs (IRCP and IPVF, Paris) and an industrial lab (CEA LITEN, Grenoble).

Postdoctoral Researcher – Synthesis of CsAuX₃ Perovskite Thin Films for Infrared Photodetectors

Designation: Postdoctoral Researcher

Research Area:

  • Perovskite Thin Films
  • Optoelectronic Devices
  • Photodetector Technologies

Location:

  • Chimie ParisTech School (ENCSP), Paris, France
  • CEA LITEN, Grenoble, France

Eligibility/Qualification:

  • PhD in a relevant field (nanomaterials, semiconductors, perovskite thin films)
  • Candidates with engineering diplomas and extensive experience in perovskite fabrication will also be considered
  • Expertise in perovskite thin films synthesis (spin coating), optoelectronic device preparation, and device characterization is essential
  • Strong experience in optical spectroscopy (Absorption, Raman, Photoluminescence), and X-ray Diffraction (XRD)

Job Description:
The selected postdoctoral researcher will focus on optimizing the deposition of continuous Cs₂Au⁺Au³⁺X₆ perovskite thin films with minimal roughness. The project will involve the following:

  • Thin film synthesis and optimization in the laboratories of Chimie ParisTech
  • Photodetector fabrication and integration of optimized thin films at the CEA LITEN facilities in Grenoble
  • Comprehensive characterization of the infrared photodetectors
  • Working collaboratively between academic and industrial labs
The goal of this research is to develop novel lead-free perovskite materials for infrared-sensitive photodetectors.
