Eligibility/Qualification

  • Completed PhD (Dr. phil. or equivalent) in one of the involved disciplines (e.g., Ethnology, Film Studies, Cultural Anthropology, Art History, Media Culture Studies, Theatre Studies)
  • Relevant publications and presentation experience, preferably internationally recognized
  • Interdisciplinary interests and intercultural competence
  • Strong theoretical abstraction skills and an international network
  • Excellent English proficiency (fluent)
  • Knowledge of the German language and additional languages if required for the project

Job Description

  • Conduct independent research leading to the completion of a postdoctoral project
  • Actively participate in the Graduate School’s qualification program
  • Collaborate interdependently and mentor PhD candidates
  • Publish and present research findings
