Job Description: The postdoc will assess the capacity of novel ecosystems to mitigate climate change and maintain ecosystem functioning under ongoing global change. This involves macroecological analyses using satellite remote sensing and existing data on plant and faunal communities. The position may also involve meta-analyses and field-based work in ECONOVO’s study areas in Europe and South Africa. The postdoc is expected to contribute ideas, lead high-quality papers, and actively participate in public outreach, teaching, and collaboration within the research community.
