Postdoctoral Researcher — MOPGA: The Centre de Recherches Insulaires et Observatoire de l’Environnement (CRIOBE), based at the University of Perpignan Via Domitia (UPVD) in Perpignan, France, invites applications for a Postdoctoral Researcher position funded through the “Make Our Planet Great Again-MOPGA” program. The position is for a duration of 12 months, focusing on hypothesis-driven projects related to marine microbial ecology, interactions and/or symbiosis, particularly in the context of global change, disease, and/or marine probiotic development.

Eligibility/Qualification:
- Ph.D. degree obtained within the last 5 years
- Non-French nationals only are eligible
- Strong background in marine ecology, environmental science, or related fields
- Experience with computational approaches and genomic research
Job Description: The selected candidate will conduct research within the CRIOBE, a leading French institution specializing in marine ecology. Priority will be given to hypothesis-driven projects focusing on computational approaches investigating the genomic basis of marine microbial ecology, interactions, and/or symbiosis in the context of global change, disease, and/or marine probiotic development.
