Eligibility/Qualification
- Background in microfluidic theory and device fabrication (3D printing or rapid prototyping methods).
- Experience with microfabricated, transparent chips and their design is advantageous.
- Expertise in microscopy and time-lapse imaging.
- Practical experience in plant and/or bacterial cultivation in microfluidic devices is advantageous.
- Interest in chronobiology (circadian biology).
- Ability to work in a highly collaborative international project and undertake international travel.
Job Description
The postdoctoral researcher will establish a cutting-edge microfluidic system to investigate circadian gene expression in Bacillus subtilis and Arabidopsis thaliana.
