Eligibility/Qualification:
- PhD in Quantum Physics or related fields.
- Strong theoretical background in quantum technologies.
- Expertise in quantum sensing, superconducting circuits, or trapped ion systems will be considered an advantage.
Job Description:
The successful candidate will contribute to research on quantum technologies, focusing on:
- Theoretical analysis of NV-center ensembles and their interaction with molecules.
- Numerical simulation of NMR sensing protocols to detect magnetic signals.
- Exploration of criticality and dynamical bifurcations in superconducting and semiconducting circuits for autonomous transport control.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct theoretical research on NV centers in diamond, superconducting circuits (transmons, Josephson junctions, etc.), and trapped ions.
- Collaborate with international researchers, including stays at MIT and other institutions.
- Present research findings at conferences and publish in high-impact journals.
- Work within the Horizon Europe project C-QUENS, collaborating with a European consortium of six laboratories.
