- Experience in experimental research with a strong background in microfluidics.

Job Description:
The postdoctoral researcher will utilize the advanced microfabrication facilities of the Kavli Nanolab to develop a lab-on-a-chip platform. Responsibilities include:
- Designing and integrating OLA production of liposomes and trap arrays.
- Implementing local light/heating modules along with selection and sorting routines.
- Conducting directed evolution experiments guided by machine learning to optimize synthetic genomes for biological functions such as shape manipulation.
- Investigating entropic segregation of synthetic genomes by testing long labeled DNA molecules in nanofabricated cavities.
The position is part of the BaSyC and EVOLF consortia, with a commitment to high-level international research.
