Eligibility/Qualification:

  • Ph.D. in Biology, Immunology, Genetics, Entomology, or Molecular Biology
  • Experience in vector biology, immunology, microbiota, or omics
  • Proficiency in hemocyte work, RNAi, or sequencing techniques
  • Strong understanding of lab safety protocols and scientific communication
  • Fluent in English (written and spoken)
  • Demonstrated independence, organizational skills, and collaborative spirit

Job Description:

The selected postdoctoral researcher will:

  • Lead an independent research project on flea-microbe interactions, emphasizing immune responses
  • Design, perform, and analyze experiments using molecular and omics tools
  • Contribute to data interpretation, scientific writing, and dissemination
  • Collaborate within a team of 13 researchers in a highly dynamic, multidisciplinary environment
  • Present findings at national and international conferences
  • Support high-impact publications in leading journals
  • Receive relocation support if coming from abroad
