Eligibility/Qualification: Ph.D. in Pharmaceutical Chemistry or related field
Job Description:
- 50% – Designing & Executing Experiments: Conduct in vitro and in vivo experiments to analyze the effectiveness of biopharmaceutical formulations using techniques like immunohistochemistry, confocal microscopy, ELISA, flow-cytometry, ELISpot assay, or qPCR.
- 20% – Writing Reports & Papers: Assist in preparing manuscripts for publication, compiling grant submissions, and creating other necessary documentation. Present research results at conferences.
- 20% – Collaboration with Lab Members: Work with fellow lab members, graduate students, and technicians. Contribute to a collaborative research environment, sharing expertise and achieving research objectives.
- 10% – Laboratory Management: Establish and follow laboratory quality control and quality assurance policies. Ensure appropriate documentation.
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum of three years of laboratory experience.
- Quantitative analysis skills, including statistics and data presentation.
- Demonstrated ability to independently plan, multitask, and complete projects.
- Strong communication skills.
- PhD in hand at the time of appointment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Molecular biology techniques (CRISPR/Cas9 Genome-editing, molecular cloning, PCR, protein expression and purification, RNA synthesis).
- Experience in polymer synthesis, biomembrane coating technology, and vaccine effectiveness evaluation in mouse models.
- Proficiency in mammalian/microbial cell culture and animal models.
- Project management experience.
- Development of new standard operating procedures through literature searches.
