Eligibility/Qualifications:
- PhD in Molecular Biology, Genetics, or related field
- Proficiency in Molecular Biology/Biochemistry techniques
- Experience in genomic experiments (e.g., RNA-seq, ChIP-seq, WGBS)
- At least one peer-reviewed first-author publication in a relevant field
- Evidence of independent project management
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Fluency in English
Desirable Qualifications:
- Experience with chromatin techniques, particularly chromatin conformation capture techniques
- Proficiency in bioinformatics
- Experience with Nanopore sequencing
Job Description:
As a Postdoctoral Researcher, your main responsibilities will include:
- Leading your own research project focusing on molecular biology and cell culture experiments, along with computational analysis of NGS/long-read Nanopore data.
- Analyzing epigenomic changes in pancreatic organoid cultures induced by interference with HMGB2 interactors modulating senescence in PDAC cells.
- Conducting genomic experiments and analyzing resulting data, profiling chromatin interactions and heterochromatin distribution.
You will also present results at group meetings, internal seminars, and conferences, as well as contribute to manuscript preparation.
