Postdoctoral Researcher Position (Funded): The Institut Necker Enfants Malades (INEM) invites applications for a full-time Postdoctoral Researcher to join a newly established team in the “Cell Biology: Growth and Signalling” department. The successful candidate will contribute to cutting-edge research focused on intestinal stem cell niche regulation in development, regeneration, and pediatric pathologies. Eligibility/Qualification:
- PhD in cell biology, developmental biology, or a related field
- Experience in cell culture and mouse handling
- Experience in transcriptomics analysis (preferred but not mandatory)
- Highly motivated with strong teamwork skills
- Fluent in English and capable of working in a multicultural environment
Job Description:
The Postdoctoral Researcher will join a newly established team studying the regulation of the intestinal stem cell niche. The role involves:
- Conducting research on stem cell interaction with their microenvironment using advanced techniques such as organoids, genetically modified mice, and single-cell multi-omics
- Collaborating within an international team
- Participating in the development of novel approaches for understanding stem cell niche regulation in pediatric pathologies
- Receiving training in additional techniques according to the candidate’s interests
