Research Area: Microbiology, specifically focusing on Staphylococcus aureus pathogenicity, interactions with the human hemostatic system, and biofilm formation. Eligibility/Qualification:

  • PhD in Microbiology, Biochemistry, Genetics, or a related field.
  • Strong background in bacterial genetic manipulation.
  • Proven experience with recombinant proteins.
  • A documented record of scientific publications.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.

Job Description:

Postdoctoral researchers will be involved in all stages of the research projects, including:

  • Experimental design and implementation.
  • Data analysis and interpretation.
  • Report and manuscript preparation.
  • Project coordination.
  • Genetic construct generation and mutant creation.
  • Protein purification.
  • Study of protein-protein interactions and biofilm-host cell interactions.
  • Mentoring PhD students.
  • Collaboration with consortium partners.
  • Participation in conferences and outreach events.
