Eligibility / Qualification:
The candidate must have:
- A PhD (or equivalent) in biological sciences or bioinformatics, obtained no earlier than 7 years before employment.
- Strong skills in experimental design, genomic data analysis, and result visualization.
- Expertise in genomics, population genetics, next-generation sequencing, and related areas.
- Excellent English language proficiency (written and verbal).
- Self-motivation, independence, organizational skills, communication abilities, and team collaboration.
- Compliance with NCN post-doc eligibility:
- PhD obtained from an institution other than ICHB PAN, or
- If obtained at ICHB PAN, must have completed a continuous 10-month documented postdoctoral fellowship at a different institution in another country.
Job Description / Responsibilities:
- Conduct experiments and genomic/population genetics analyses.
- Prepare scientific reports and summaries.
- Continuously expand domain knowledge.
- Publish research results in peer-reviewed journals.
- Supervise students and doctoral researchers.
- Present findings at seminars, workshops, and scientific conferences.
