Postdoctoral Researcher (Postdoc): Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznań, in collaboration with ITMC RWTH Aachen, is seeking a highly motivated and skilled postdoctoral researcher to join the Center for Advanced Technology. The successful candidate will work on the Beethoven Classic project, focusing on developing a new, green strategy in the hydrosilylation of alkynes, imines, and carbonyl compounds. The research will involve the application of green solvents, catalysts immobilization techniques, and stereoselective catalytic systems. This is a temporary full-time position with a duration of 11 months, starting on September 1st, 2023.

Job Description: The postdoctoral researcher will be responsible for conducting research tasks within the Beethoven Classic project. The key areas of focus include hydrosilylation of unsaturated carbon-carbon and carbon-heteroatom bonds, development of new catalytic systems, immobilization of catalysts, and carrying out catalytic tests using different solvents and systems. The researcher will also participate in phase behavior studies, characterization of products, and the synthesis of novel organosilicon compounds. The position is research-oriented with no teaching duties, except for student supervision.
