Eligibility / Qualification

  • Ph.D. or Doctorate in Biology, Biochemistry, or a closely related field
  • Proven experience in ribo-seq / ribosome profiling
    or demonstrable expertise in:
    • Translation and translational regulation
    • Ribosome function using experimental techniques
  • Strong oral and written English communication skills
  • Ability to work independently as well as in a collaborative team environment
  • Motivated, creative, critical thinker with a solution-oriented mindset

Job Description

  • Design and lead independent research projects on proteome plasticity during redox signaling and cellular stress in mammalian systems
  • Apply integrated biochemical, cell biological, and systems-level approaches
  • Organize, execute, and troubleshoot experiments independently
  • Communicate research findings clearly and professionally within the CRC team
  • Mentor and advise undergraduate, graduate, and doctoral students
  • Contribute to a collaborative, interdisciplinary research environment
