🎓 Eligibility / Qualification

  • Ph.D. in Civil Engineering, Materials Engineering, Physics, or a closely related field (completed within the last 4 years)
  • Proven track record of publications in international peer-reviewed journals
  • Strong communication skills in English (Spanish proficiency is a plus)
  • Deep interest in sustainable and climate-adaptive construction technologies

The postdoctoral researcher will:

  • Conduct independent and collaborative research on smart, carbon-neutral, and climate-resilient materials for infrastructure and buildings
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams from research centers such as the Concrete Innovation Center and the Wood Innovation Center
  • Disseminate findings through high-impact publications and presentations
  • Contribute to the broader mission of sustainable innovation in construction
