Postdoctoral Researcher (Sablowski Group): The John Innes Centre invites applications for the position of Postdoctoral Researcher in the Sablowski Group.   • Contract – 3 years, full-time

Eligibility/Qualification:

  • PhD (full award or expected within 6 months) in molecular biology, cell biology, or a related discipline
  • Rigorous, analytical, and creative mind
  • Passion for curiosity-driven science
  • Research experience in cell biology and/or developmental genetics
  • Proficiency in molecular biology; experience in advanced bioimaging and Arabidopsis genetics is advantageous

Job Description: The Postdoctoral Researcher will focus on understanding how cell fate is coordinated with cell size during sporogenesis. Responsibilities include designing, executing, and interpreting experiments to test hypotheses, proposing and testing new hypotheses based on results, and contributing to the broader aims of the project.
