Eligibility / Qualification
Applicants must meet Article 113 of the Polish Law on Higher Education and Science and additionally:
- PhD in Chemistry or a related field
- PhD obtained outside Adam Mickiewicz University
- Degree awarded no earlier than 7 years before employment
- No prior PhD supervision relationship with the project leader
- Proven experience in:
- Materials synthesis & materials chemistry
- Electrochemistry
- Chiral material characterization (CD, XRD, XPS, TEM, FTIR)
- Authorship/co-authorship of peer-reviewed scientific publications
- Experience presenting research at national/international conferences
- Strong experimental planning and data visualization skills
Job Description
The selected Postdoctoral Researcher will:
- Synthesize and characterize chiral materials for water splitting
- Design and conduct photo- and electro-catalytic experiments
- Investigate spin-dependent effects on reaction kinetics and selectivity
- Perform independent literature research
- Analyze, interpret, and discuss experimental results
- Co-supervise PhD and Master’s students
- Publish research articles in international journals
- Present results at scientific conferences
