Eligibility/Qualification
- Education: PhD in Physics, Material Sciences, or a related field.
- Experience & Technical Skills:
- Strong background in magnetism and spintronic devices.
- Proficient in designing and automating data acquisition setups.
- Experience with common clean room tools used for nanofabrication, including:
- PVD deposition systems
- Ion Milling
- Direct Write Laser Lithography
- E-beam systems
- RIE tools, SEM inspection tools
- Hands-on experience with MTJ devices and Beyond-CMOS technologies.
- Proficient in characterizing magnetic materials and devices using VSM and CIPT.
- Simulation experience with software tools like COMSOL and FEMM.
- Competent in electrical characterization and data analysis using Python, Mathematica, or Matlab.
Job Description
The Postdoctoral Researcher will:
- Optimize stacks and processes for new sensing devices beyond current state-of-the-art.
- Microfabricate and nano-fabricate TMR sensor wafers for qualification.
- Electrically characterize the produced sensors.
- Develop and automate new characterization setups.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to integrate devices with electronic circuits or CMOS technologies.
- Collect and analyze data at both sensor and system levels.
- Document findings and contribute to scientific publications or patent submissions.
