Job Description

The postdoctoral fellow will be engaged in an ANR-funded project aimed at investigating the physical processes by which B lymphocytes mechanically interact with T lymphocytes at the immunological synapse. Key responsibilities include:

  • Studying mechanical crosstalk between B cells and T cells in immune synapse formation.
  • Analyzing immune synapse structure and dynamics on substrates with varying mechanical/chemical properties.
  • Employing microfluidics tools and pharmaceutical/genetic approaches to manipulate immune synapse formation.
  • Measuring mechanical properties of cells using biophysical techniques.
  • Learning group microfabrication methods (microfluidic traps, soft substrates).
  • Utilizing techniques such as cell culture, microfluidics, and fluorescence microscopy.
