Eligibility/Qualification:
- PhD (or equivalent) degree in mathematics
- Strong research background in mathematical analysis
- Motivation to pursue research aligned with the proposed topics
- Fluency in English (both written and spoken) with strong mathematical expression
- Candidates expecting to graduate soon are eligible to apply, but PhD completion is required before contract start.
Job Description:
- Conduct cutting-edge research in designated mathematical analysis topics.
- Collaborate on Research Council of Finland projects related to:
- Commutators, compactness, and application
- Finnish Centre of Excellence in Randomness and Structures
- Geometric analysis, stochastics, and partial differential equations
- Opportunities to engage in small teaching components (0-10% of annual working time).
Salary: Initial gross salary of โฌ4064/month with additional benefits for health care and collaboration visits.
Contract Duration: 1-2 years, with a possible one-year extension.
