Eligibility/Qualification:
- A PhD in Medicine, Pharmacy, Biostatistics, Epidemiology, Computer Science, Image Analysis, or a related quantitative discipline.
- Completion of the doctoral degree within the last three years is considered advantageous.
- Proficiency in statistical programming (e.g., R or Python).
- Familiarity with advanced analytical techniques (e.g., causal inference, machine learning, time-to-event analysis).
- Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate in multidisciplinary teams.
- Experience with register or large-scale health data is a plus but not mandatory.
Job Description:
The selected candidates will:
- Join a collaborative research team led by Professor Juan-Jesús Carrero.
- Contribute to exploring health trajectories, developing decision tools, addressing care gaps, optimizing treatment effects, and applying digital pathology methods.
- Develop independent research projects and provide mentorship to PhD and master’s students.
- Generate and analyze large data assets, adapt methodologies, and report research findings through publications and conference presentations.
