Eligibility/Qualification
- A Ph.D. degree in a relevant field that supports the research topic.
- Demonstrated ability to conduct independent scientific work.
- Experience in laboratory work (if applicable for the topic).
- Publications in international peer-reviewed journals in their field are essential.
- Fluent oral and written communication skills in English.
- Candidates who will graduate soon are encouraged to apply; if selected, they will initially be appointed as project researchers for 6 months.
Job Description
The selected researchers will work on various projects under the SUSMAT initiative, which aims to advance the design of sustainable materials and manufacturing through data-driven approaches. Research topics include (but are not limited to):
- Development of biohybrid framework materials for photovoltaics
- Designing active biomaterials for energy harvesting
- Exploring electron transport in cyanobacteria
- Designing for sustainability in re- and demanufacturing
- Developing recyclable materials for flexible electronics
The positions are fixed-term for 2 years, with an expected start date of October 1, 2025, or by mutual agreement.
