Eligibility/Qualification
- Must possess a PhD.
- Strong publication record and significant experimental training in molecular biology and biochemistry.
- Experience in genetic mouse models, bone biology, and relevant disease models (obesity/type 2 diabetes) is a plus.
- Background in immunology or bioinformatics is advantageous.
Job Description
The successful candidates will work on the identification of non-coding RNAs and RNA processing mechanisms in bone regeneration and investigate the role of immune cells in musculoskeletal tissue homeostasis. The research incorporates advanced techniques in cell culture, mouse models, and human clinical samples.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct research to explore the molecular mechanisms of bone repair.
- Utilize state-of-the-art techniques in RNA biology and osteoimmunology.
- Collaborate within a multidisciplinary research environment at the Center for Orthopaedic Research and Translational Science (CORTS).
