Eligibility/Qualification
Required:
- PhD in a related field.
- Experience independently performing immunological techniques, including multicolor flow cytometry and immune cell phenotyping.
- Applied expertise in murine models and dendritic cell immunoassays.
- Skills in project management, immunology, cancer biology, and flow cytometry.
Preferred:
- PhD in Immunology, Cancer Biology, Cell Biology, or Molecular Biology.
- Experience independently setting up and optimizing dendritic cell vaccination protocols.
- Experience independently executing human dendritic cell differentiation.
- Proficiency in advanced microscopy, immunofluorescence staining, and imaging analysis.
Job Description
As a scientific leader on assigned projects, the Postdoctoral Scholar will:
- Independently design, execute, analyze, and interpret experiments.
- Collaborate with researchers across OHSU and the Knight Cancer Institute.
- Present findings at laboratory meetings, institutional seminars, and conferences.
- Prepare manuscripts for peer-reviewed publication.
- Contribute to fellowship applications and funding opportunities.
- Mentor graduate students, research assistants, and undergraduate trainees.
- Stay current with scientific literature and maintain accurate research records.
