Eligibility/Qualification

  • PhD degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or related fields.
  • Life sciences PhDs (Biology, Genetics, Biochemistry, etc.) with computational experience are also eligible.
  • PhD candidates who have submitted their doctoral thesis may apply.
  • Experience in single-cell genomics data processing is advantageous, especially if reflected in publication records.

Job Description

  • Biomedical Data Analysis (40%): Conduct statistical analysis of biomedical data using existing methods and developing custom scripts.
  • Bioinformatics Method Development (40%): Development of Bioinformatics frameworks using computational and statistical approaches for problems not adequately addressed in the biomedical domain.
  • Scholarly Activities (10%): Generate academic outputs including presentations, grants, and manuscripts.
  • Related Tasks (10%): Engage in additional tasks assigned by the principal investigator.
