Job Description:
The successful candidate will lead the “PreProPRRSV” project, focusing on predicting vaccine efficacy and preventing PRRSV outbreaks. Responsibilities include:
- Conducting pig trials and developing an immune biobank.
- Establishing laboratory techniques and performing T-cell restimulation assays.
- Engaging in advanced immune and viral studies and farm extension activities.
- Collaborating with the Machado lab and the pig industry for sample collection and feedback.
- Writing and editing scientific manuscripts and articles.
- Providing educational guidance to students.
