Research Area

Eligibility/Qualification

  • PhD in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Mechanical Engineering, Applied Physics, Materials Science, or closely related field.
  • Strong background in electrochemistry, chemical engineering fundamentals, material science, and hands-on experience with electrochemical devices.

Job Description

  • Develop scientific research hypotheses and design experiments relevant to electrochemical devices.
  • Assemble and test membrane-electrode assembly (MEA) devices using electrochemical techniques.
  • Perform characterization using XPS, XRD, SEM/EDS, FIB-SEM, TEM, and data interpretation.
  • Fabricate catalyst inks, electrodes, and membranes for MEA devices.
  • Quantify and analyze gas and liquid products, working on multi-physics simulation and modeling for electrolyzers.
  • Publish original research and present findings at conferences and workshops.
  • Collaborate with a diverse team and adjust research priorities based on project needs.
