Job Description
We are seeking a motivated postdoctoral researcher dedicated to driving discoveries in the genetics of vertebrate brain cell evolution. The successful applicant will work primarily with sea lamprey (Petromyzon marinus) during seasonal work and with zebrafish (Danio rerio) throughout the rest of the year. The ideal candidate will be highly ambitious, possess strong organizational skills, and demonstrate independence in team settings. Candidates should have a solid record of scientific achievements, including preprints or peer-reviewed publications and presentations.
This position offers an opportunity to collaborate within a multidisciplinary environment alongside the Department of Integrative Biology and Physiology and the Institute for Society and Genetics, with vibrant community engagement at both UCLA and UC Berkeley.
