Postdoctoral Scholar in Soil Ecology: The Agroecology group at the University of California Davis, led by Dr. Gaudin, is looking for a dedicated Postdoctoral Scholar to join their team. This position focuses on investigating the impacts of orchard diversification via livestock grazing on soil ecology, nutrient cycling, and stress resilience. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in characterizing the outcomes on soil ecosystems and working alongside an interdisciplinary team of scientists to evaluate the benefits and challenges of grazing in organic orchard systems. This research is funded through a USDA-OREI grant, and the position entails two years of active engagement in research and outreach activities related to agroforestry and integrated crop-livestock systems.
