Postdoctoral Scholar in Soil Ecology: The Agroecology group at the University of California Davis, led by Dr. Gaudin, is looking for a Postdoctoral Scholar to join their team.   • Strong organizational and oral communication skills

Job Description:

Postdoctoral Scholar in Soil Ecology of Diversified Orchard Systems (Gaudin Lab)

The Postdoctoral Scholar will be part of a research team investigating the impacts of orchard diversification through livestock grazing on soil ecosystems. The role involves data collection, analysis, and coordination of on-farm experiments in collaboration with orchard crop growers across the Central Valley. The candidate will also engage in controlled laboratory studies to examine soil dynamics under warming and drought conditions. Additionally, the position includes responsibilities related to lab management and mentoring of graduate and undergraduate students. The appointment is for two years at 100% time, following the University of California postdoc pay scale.
