  • Ph.D. or equivalent doctorate in one of the listed science fields
  • Degree conferred before the appointment start date, not more than five (5) years prior
  • Exceptions may be made in exceptional circumstances

Job Description:
The Center for Marine Science at the University of North Carolina Wilmington is seeking Postdoctoral Scholars to conduct research in various marine and coastal science disciplines. Responsibilities include:

  • Conducting research in coastal and marine sciences
  • Oversight of research projects and personnel
  • Project management and assistance in developing proposals and manuscripts
  • Data acquisition, analysis, and interpretation
  • Interacting with academic departments and other university units for project management
