Eligibility/Qualification
- Ph.D. in chemical sciences or a STEM-related discipline.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in career and professional development or a related field.
- Proven ability to think strategically and analyze data for programmatic improvements.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to facilitate workshops and manage multiple priorities.
- Experience with Microsoft 360, Excel, Adobe Photoshop/Canva, Qualtrics, and Adobe Acrobat.
Job Description
The Program Manager will:
- Develop, deploy, and assess workshops and resources for undergraduate and graduate students as well as postdoctoral scholars.
- Lead research strategies, including data collection and analysis, to inform career development initiatives.
- Collaborate with internal and external partners to enhance diversity and inclusion in graduate and postdoctoral education within chemistry.
- Assist the Assistant Director with various special projects and initiatives.
- Represent ACS at national, regional, and local meetings, as well as at external forums.
