Eligibility/Qualification:

  • Completed scientific higher education (Master or Diploma) in a related field.
  • Completed PhD.
  • Excellent expertise in mass spectrometry.
  • Strong knowledge in bioinformatics and microscopy.

Job Description:

  • Measurement and analysis of datasets from liquid chromatography mass spectrometry (LC-MS/MS) and MALDI-MSI imaging.
  • Establishment of multiplex Immunofluorescence (IF) microscopy staining and automated analysis using segmentation algorithms and AI.
  • Isolation of malignant tissue/cells via laser microdissection for further mass spectrometric investigations.
  • Application of light-sheet microscopy in combination with mass spectrometry.
  • Development of methods for minimal proteomic sample preparation.
  • Establishment of bioinformatic algorithms for multi-omics data registration.
  • Integrative assessment of data through multivariate analyses, dimensionality reduction, and pathway analysis.
  • Support the “Single-Cell and Spatial Multi-Omics” group by supervising students and PhD candidates.
