Job Description
The Postdoctoral Scientist will collaborate with Dr. Halil Aydin’s lab at NYU to dissect the molecular basis of a cellular clock governing cytokinesis independently of nucleus and mitotic CDK/Cyclin complexes. Key responsibilities include:
- Leading protein biochemistry research, including cell fractionation, protein purification, and structural assays (Cryo-EM).
- Developing new experimental methods to advance research.
- Mentoring students and research assistants.
- Writing scientific manuscripts and attending conferences to present findings.
