Job Description:
Postdoctoral Scientist (f/m/d) in the Field of Root Genetics
The Genetics and Physiology of Root Development research group is seeking a Postdoctoral Scientist to contribute to their ongoing research. The successful candidate will undertake the following responsibilities:
- Root Architectural and Anatomical Phenotyping: Employ imaging, rhizotrons, and microscopy to assess root traits.
- QTL Trait Mapping and GWAS Analysis: Conduct quantitative trait locus (QTL) mapping and genome-wide association studies (GWAS).
- Transcriptomic Analyses and Mutant Line Generation: Perform transcriptomic analyses and assist in the development of mutant plant lines.
- Reporting: Disseminate research findings through scientific journals and oral presentations.
