Postdoctoral Scientist in University of Trento: The Department of CIBIO at the University of Trento, Italy, is seeking a Postdoctoral Scientist to focus on genome editing delivery systems and work towards developing a genome editing treatment for cystic fibrosis patients.

Eligibility/Qualification:

PhD in life sciences with a strong background in molecular and cellular biology, and interest in RNA/protein delivery tools and developing epithelia experimental models. Flexibility in working both in Italy and abroad at the consortium labs is required.

Job Description:

Postdoctoral Scientist in Genome Editing Delivery Systems

The incoming research fellow will work within a European network to address the issues related to gene therapy delivery to the lung. The focus will be on developing genome editing tools, CRISPR-Cas based, that should be efficiently delivered to lungs using both viral derived and non-viral (lipid nanoparticles) technologies. The goal is to improve RNA internalization into epithelia.
