Job Description

The Postdoctoral Scientist will:

  • Investigate microbial communities contributing to dark oxygen production.
  • Utilize multi-omics, long-read sequencing, stable isotope probing (SIP), gas chromatography, mass spectrometry, and high-resolution microscopy.
  • Collaborate with leading labs for oxygen isotope geochemical analyses and bioinformatics.

Funding support is available for three years, with an option for extension based on annual performance reviews. The PD will have significant influence on research direction and original questions.
