The research project pertains to therapy adaptation for gastrointestinal cancers, utilizing cellular human and murine model systems, including patient-derived organoids, to study molecular and translational aspects of therapies relevant for GI cancers. The project aims to identify and disrupt therapy adaptation and resistance, with a focus on understanding how metabolic sensors drive transcriptional adaptations in response to therapeutic stress.

Eligibility/Qualification:
- A Ph.D. degree in biomedicine, biochemistry, biology, systems biology, or related fields
- Previous exposure to and experience in basic and advanced cellular and molecular biology techniques
- Strong knowledge in bioinformatics and data analysis
- Specific interest in the molecular aspects of therapies
- Excellent communication skills for scientific discussion
Job Description:
As a Postdoctoral Scientist, the successful candidate will be expected to lead and contribute to the research project on therapy adaptation for gastrointestinal cancers. This will involve utilizing a wide spectrum of genetic, molecular & cell biology, and biochemical techniques to study aspects of cancer with high translational potential. Additionally, the candidate will be highly collaborative, passing on skills and knowledge to other team members and supervising Ph.D. students and undergraduates.
