Postdoctoral / Scientist Position: An immediate opening is available for a Postdoctoral Fellow/Scientist in Synthetic Organic Chemistry, with a focus on drug discovery for cancer and neurodegenerative disorders. The successful candidate will work on the synthesis and refinement of small organic molecules, prediction of drug targets using AI, and testing in cell culture models. This is a full-time position based in the Baton Rouge / New Orleans Metropolitan Area.

Eligibility / Qualification

  • Ph.D. in Organic Chemistry
  • Demonstrated research experience in synthetic organic chemistry
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Experience in molecular modeling and AI techniques
  • Knowledge of basic cell, spheroid, and organoid culture techniques
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively
  • Prior academic or research experience is required

Job Description

The selected candidate will:

  • Synthesize and refine small organic molecules
