Eligibility/Qualification
- Compulsory Requirements:
- Ph.D. degree in Electrical, Electronic, or Control Systems Engineering.
- Solid background in Power Engineering, Power Electronics, Control Systems, and Electrical Machines.
- Proven track record in publishing research results.
- Experience in national and international projects.
- Other Merits:
- Understanding of Renewable and Energy Storage Technologies.
- Knowledge of DIgSILENT PowerFactory, Matlab, SimPowerSystems, and other energy systems modeling tools.
- Experience in HIL (Hardware In the Loop) and PHIL (Power Hardware In the Loop) test systems.
- Proficiency in oral and written English.
Job Description
- Conduct R&D in the stability of power systems with high share of power converter interfaced renewable sources and storage systems.
- Engage in transient, voltage, and small-signal stability research.
- Develop and experimentally validate control algorithms in a laboratory setting.
- Disseminate and publish research findings in scientific journals.
- Supervise doctoral researchers and participate in national and international SmartGrids related research projects.
