Eligibility/Qualification:

  • Postdoctoral associate applicants must hold a Ph.D. in Quantum Information Science, Theoretical Condensed Matter, AMO Physics, or a related field awarded within the last four years with a minimum of one year of eligibility remaining. Strong background in Quantum Mechanics and programming skills are necessary.
  • Senior research associate applicants must have a Ph.D. in the aforementioned fields along with prior postdoctoral experience. A strong background in Quantum Mechanics and programming skills are necessary. Knowledge of concepts and techniques from Quantum Information Science, as well as experience with Python and Mathematica, is preferred.

Job Description:
The successful candidates will conduct research in theoretical Quantum Information Science focusing on quantum computing, quantum simulation, quantum networks, and quantum control. There will be opportunities to test theoretical results on cloud quantum processors, with potential collaboration with leading experimental and theory groups globally.

Senior Research Associates will also have additional responsibilities, including mentoring junior group members and assisting with grant management. Regular dissemination of research results through journal publications and conference presentations is expected.
