Postdoctoral studies in medical sensors: Karolinska Institutet is seeking a highly motivated Postdoctoral Research Fellow in the field of electrochemical sensors and microbiology. The successful candidate will join an interdisciplinary project in translational medical research, focusing on the development of wearable sensor devices for medical diagnostics. Eligibility/Qualification:

  • Doctoral degree in natural or engineering sciences
  • Experience in electrochemistry, biosensors, and cell culturing
  • Collaborative approach to research and ability to work effectively in a team
  • Fluent in English

Job Description: The Postdoctoral Research Fellow will be responsible for:

  • Fabricating electrochemical devices for bacterial sensing
  • Designing synthetic and semi-synthetic biorecognition for biosensor applications
  • Conducting electrochemical analysis and data dissemination
  • Collaborating with the research team to generate high-quality biomedical devices
  • Contributing to the broader goal of enabling rapid and accurate biosensing for improved treatment decisions in healthcare
