Eligibility/Qualification:

  • A PhD in organic chemistry, medicinal chemistry, or a closely related discipline.
  • Demonstrated experience of laboratory organic synthesis.
  • Enthusiasm for lab-based roles within a multidisciplinary environment focused on cancer therapeutics.

Job Description:
The successful candidate will engage in projects and drug discovery efforts within the Institute’s Centre for Protein Degradation. Responsibilities include:

  • Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to design new molecules and develop synthetic routes.
  • Utilizing biological and pharmacokinetic data alongside structural information.
  • Conducting biochemical and cell-based assays to test project compounds.
  • Developing existing skills in organic chemistry and acquiring knowledge in applied medicinal chemistry and chemical biology.

The position is designed to foster personal development and career progression in the field of cancer therapeutics.
